One week to go! Join us at SEC Glasgow on 23 October for Scotland’s premier public procurement event!
This year the event incorporates both the Scottish Government 14th National Procurement Conference, while the Government Opportunities (GO) Awards Scotland 2018/19 ceremony takes place in the evening. Together these three events make up Scotland’s Festival of Procurement.
With so much going on, we have made a list of what’s not to be missed at next week’s event.
Scottish Government National Procurement Conference Agenda
Scotland Tonight presenter Rona Dougall will host this year’s Scottish Government 14th National Procurement Conference (ticketed event) and some of Scotland’s leading public procurement experts will be joining her.
Special guest speaker Ant Middleton, who is known for his adventurer and leadership skills in Channel 4 programme SAS: Who Dares Wins, will also deliver a session based on his experience in the Special Forces. He will speak about how the skills and experiences that were invaluable to him in the Special Forces can be adapted to improve team building and leadership within your organisation.
Market Engagement Zone
Join Tracker, Supply2Gov, Media & Marketing Solutions, PASS Training and BiP’s Cyber Essentials representative in the Market Engagement Zone at Procurex Scotland to take part in Procurex Scotland’s first ever virtual reality competition.
Players who enter the competition will have the chance to win an Amazon Echo and Dot – do not miss out!
Networking and Collaboration Zone
Get involved in the conversations happening at Procurex Scotland by attending some of the sessions in our Networking & Collaboration Zones.
The Networking and Collaboration Zones offer you a significant opportunity to meet the Scottish Government and leading suppliers to discuss buyer and supplier opportunities, share best practice, expand your knowledge and create new peer contacts.
Procurement Excellence Live Stage
GO Awards finalists have been invited along to the Procurement Excellence Live Stage. On the day there will be a presentation that will recognise the achievements of those who make a real difference to the Scottish economy.
The GO Awards Scotland 2018/19 ceremony will be held at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel in the evening.
Don’t miss out
There is still time to join us at Procurex Scotland 2018. Procurex is free to attend for all public sector and third sector professionals and £95 for all private sector delegates.
